He studied applied graphic design at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts between 1986 and 1990, then continued his studies in the Master’s programme until1993. Since 2010 he has been an associate professor at the Budapest Metropolitan University, head of the BA Graphic Design Department and head of the MA specialisation in typeface design/typography. He is a lecturerat the Institute of Design and Media Arts of the University of Pécs. He works in the fields of corporate image design, catalogue and book design, and illustration. In 2010 he received the Munkácsy Award.
