He completed his studies in 1967 at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts, where his master was Árpád Csekovszky. Since 1972 he has exhibited regularly at solo and group shows in Hungary and abroad. From 1985 to 2005 he was a teacher of sculpture and form studies at the Institute of Undergraduate Studies at the Hungarian Academy (later University) of Applied Arts, and between 1987 and 2005 he was a guest lecturer at the Institute of Postgraduate Studies. He won the scholarship of the Kecskemét Ceramics Studio numerous times, and took 1st and then 2nd place at the National Ceramics Biennial. He won the Noémi Ferenczy Award in 1992 and received the recognition of Meritorious Artist of Hungary in 2016. His monumental works, fountains and building sculptures can be seen in various locations of Hungary.
