He graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1963. He learned the lost wax casting technique, which played a significant role in his work, from Károly Kovács. He used to sell his works in the retail shops of the Képcsarnok Company domestically and at exhibitions organised by Artex-Artbüró abroad. He regularly participates in group exhibitions. He has done considerable restoration work. In 1993 he received the Noémi Ferenczy Award, in 2004 he was awarded the MAOE Creators’ Grand Prize in Applied Arts. In 2016 he was awarded the title Meritorious Artist. His works can be found in the Museum of Applied Arts, furthermore in the city museums of Pécs, Sopron, Kecskemét and Nyíregyháza.
