She graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1981 with a master’s degree. Since 2019 she has been a senior research fellow at the University of Pécs. She has exhibited her works at several national and international exhibitions on textile art. In 1998 she won the New York Scholarship of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, in 2002 she was the Grand Prize Winner of the 1st National Triennial of Paper Art, in 2007 she won a HUNGART Scholarship, and in 2010 the title Textile Artist of the Year. In 2021, she won the first prize at the Artapestry 6exhibition in Denmark. Her works can befound in several public collections and public buildings both in Hungary and Europe.
