Noémi Ferenczy Award-winning applied artist, industrial designer, academy and university teacher, painter, graphic artist
He graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1970, his masters were András Dózsa Farkas, Aladár Németh, Pál Gerzson. He created designs for many companies in the areas of industrial design, exhibition design and graphic design. He has participated in several international Interdesign seminars, and he has been the organiser of numerous publications and exhibitions abroad. Since 1977 he has also worked as a university lecturer, and in 1997 he was awarded the title of Habilitated Master, and appointed university professor. His most important awards include the Design Award of Excellence (1977), the Farkas András Dózsa Award (1994), the Noémi Ferenczy Award (1997), and the Széchényi Professorial Scholarship (1998). He was a full member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, and in 2017 he was co-curator of the 1st Salon of Applied Arts and Design in Műcsarnok (Kunsthalle Budapest).
