He graduated in 1964 from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts, where his masters were Miklós Borsos and Árpád Csekovszky. He has been pursuing his work in art education in parallel with his activity as an artist since the beginning of his career. He has been participating in exhibitions since 1965 both in Hungary and abroad. His works have been displayed at more than 100 group exhibitions and at 18 solo shows. He regularly attends the Ceramics Symposium in Siklós and in Hódmezővásárhely. He won the Noémi Ferenczy Award in 1994, the János Apáczai Csere Award in 1998 and the István Gádor Award in 2017. He was a student at the doctoral school of the Hungarian University of Applied Arts from 1998 to 2001. His works can be found in several public collections in Hungary.
