Kyra LÁSZLÓ

1973, Budapest

glass artist

She graduated from the Hungarian University of Applied Arts in 2003. Her work explores the main characteristics of glass: transparency, fluidity and strength. In her first works, she sought the duality inherent in warm glass and sheet glass, which also characterised her works dealing with spatial problematics, which were complemented by other materials besides glass. She works with monochrome colours, bringing the power ofher objects to life through light. In addition to domestic exhibitions, her work has also been presented in major exhibitions in the Czech Republic, in Germany and in Poland.
