She graduated from the University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca in 1975. At the beginning of her career she was engaged in Gobelin tapestry design and dress design before moving on to the organization of fashion shows, and to the creation of autonomous textile works, leather collages with a unique technique, and paper collages. In 1997 she won the Design Award of Excellence, in 2000 the Noémi Ferenczy Award, and in 2007she received professional recognition at the 13th International Triennial of Textile Art. In 2013 she won the Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch Award, in 2018 she received the Prima Award, and in 2020 the Merited Artist Award. She was the founder and director of the Gödöllő Workshop of Applied Arts (established in1998) until 2018. She has been a member of the MMA since 2004 and of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2008.
