Vendel BICSÁR

He graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1975. He was a teacher at the Vocational Secondary School of Arts in Pécs between 1975 and 1977. Besides being a gold- and silversmith he has been working as a glass artist making blown and pressed sculptural glass works, reliefs and stained glass pictures since 1992. He received the Noémi Ferenczy Award in 2014 and has been a member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2015.
