He graduated in Planetary and SpaceScience and Construction Engineering fromBoston University and Stanford University, USA, in 1969 and 1999, respectively. During hisstudies in astronomy he was captivated by thebeauty of the natural, homogenous and multidirectional light of the Sun. After completinghis university studies he returned to Europe andfounded Oleant Lighting. He invented Spectravibe, patented in 2000, which is an adjustable 3Dmulticolour wave generator used for ambientlighting. His works won the “most innovativeproduct” prize at the Music Inside Rimini exhibition held in 2002 in Rimini. He was among thecategory winners of the Lighting Design Awardsin 2017, and he was the Platinum winner of theMuse Design Awards and the winner of the BIGSEE Product Design in 2019.
