Dóri Tomcsányi graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in 2013, but she launched the brand already a year before graduation. One of the main pillars and motifs of her work is the representation of adistinctive digital print world, guided by her current inspirations and created in collaboration with pattern designer Viola Balázs. The design shop was launched in 2012 under the name The Garden Studio, and in 2020 it was expanded to include a vegetarian restaurant and café, with the slogan “slow fashion, slow food”. Dóri Tomcsányi won the Hungarian Design Award in 2014, and was named Fashion Designer of the Year by Glamour magazine in 2016. Since 2017 she has been lecturing at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, and since 2021 she has also been a student atthe Doctoral School of the same institution.
