She graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1959, her master was Ernő Schubert. From 1960 until her retirement she worked as a jacquard designer at the weaving factory of Iparművészeti Vállalat, and in addition to that, she also created her own unique textiles. From 1976 to 1992 she was a lecturer at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts. Since1990 she has worked with a manual heddleloom. She received the Industrial Design Award of Excellence in 1999 and 2000, won the Noémi Ferenczy Award in 2004, and the Anna Rózsa Award in 2006. In 2013 she published her book Where the Threads Lead.
