Kristóf BIHARI

1974, Budapest

glass artist

He graduated from the Hungarian University of Applied Arts in 1999, the same year he was awarded the prize of the Mária Goszthonyi Foundation. In his plastic art he captures a transfxed moment in the process of glass melting. In effect, bubbles are trapped by glass, producing a unique composition in a pre-designed, special order. In the process, air itself becomes the composition, whose appearance is made possible by the glass, and visible by the unique refraction of light.
