She graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1990. She has exhibited and won several awards in Japan, Taiwan, and at the International Ceramics Biennale in Cluj-Napoca, and since 2013 she has been a member of the Geneva-based International Academy of Ceramics, and has participated in and lectured at international symposia. The unique technical process used in her works, which are made of clay strips with a distinctive rustic surface, was developed in 1993 and has been extensively refined since then. Since 1993 she has been working in her own ceramics studio in Japan. In 2021, she won a Creators’ Award at the National Ceramics Biennale in Pécs, Hungary. Her works can be found in several public collections in Hungary and abroad.
