He graduated from the Hungarian University of Applied Arts in 1977. In his abstract, cast porcelain and cordierite sculptural pieces tension is created by regular and irregular, as well as intact and intentionally defaced forms and surfaces. He won first prize at the Hungarian Ceramics Biennial in Pécs in 1982, the Noémi Ferenczy Award in 1997 and the Gádor Award in 2008. He received the special prize on the Day of Hungarian Culture in 2018. His works can be found in numerous public collections in Hungary and abroad.
