She graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1977. She worked as an industrial designer at the company Kemikál in Barcs, and later as a designer at Pannonglas in Nagykanizsa. In her work for buildings she uses both modern industrial glass and traditional stained glass. She also makes small objects and glass sculptures,mostly using a slumping technique, sometimes mixing several types of glass. In 1993 she received the Noémi Ferenczy Award. Since the year 2000 she has been a lecturer at the University of Pécs. She is a founding member of the Mária Goszthony International Glass Workshop and Symposium Foundation, and was a member of its Board of Trustees between 1991 and 1998. Her works can be found in several public collections both in Hungary and abroad, as well as in several public buildings.
